I had a great time this weekend attending my first Millennium Con, in Round Rock, TX. I played a good civil war game, ran a couple games, saw some very nice tables, and bought a few figures. Also made new friends and had an outstanding drive up and back with my gaming buddies. I'm looking forward to next year! Pictures below and a bit of description of the con at the very end.
There were plenty of games, with pretty good variety---ACW, American Revolution, Napoleonics, sci fi, American West, and more. There was a Saga, Bolt Action, HOTT, and Flames of War tournament. The flea market afterwards was very good with lots of interesting stuff for sale. There was a variety of vendors, including several I haven't seen before. The convention center itself has good lightning and numerous small rooms instead of one gigantic hall. The adjoining hotel was fine with a great continental breakfast and good coffee.
Thanks to Russ and Bob for driving up there!
It was great meeting you Nathaniel! Hopefully we can play in some of these great looking games together next year.
